Core Leadership
Dr Ndidi Nnoli-Edozien has 16 years experience in corporate sustainability and responsibility, strategic planning and management, microfinance and rural development, project design and implementation, funds management and enterprise development, spanning the private sector, public sector and civil society in Africa and Europe. Dr Nnoli-Edozien previously served as the Director of Strategy & Monitoring, and Director of the CEOs Office at the Nigerian Communications Commission, and was the Founding Head (Vice President) of SecTrust Asset Management (now part of Afrinvest West Africa). She has been a Senior Lecturer in Business Ethics in the prestigious Lagos Business School (LBS) and she has consulted for various organizations including UNDP, USAID, PWC, Deutsche Bank, and the Wittenberg Center for Global Ethics.. Ndidi has pioneered world recognized Projects like the Rural Telephone Project (Best Community Use of Phone Award, GSMA Barcelona, 2005) and she coordinates some of the largest civil society driven entrepreneurship development initiatives in Nigeria including in the Niger Delta. Her status as a social entrepreneur was recognized by the Bertelsmann AG to whom she is affiliated as a Reinhard Mohn Fellow. She is a coordinating team member of the TT30 Club of Rome; a director in the Micro Enterprise Development Corporation (MEDC); a Trustee of the Human Development Fund (HDF) and of Communicating For Change; the African Representative of Bank Fuer Orden Und Mission; and a board member of the Commonwealth Education Fund (CEF).
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE), a Diploma in Catholic Social Teaching; and a Certificate in Investment Management. She holds a PhD in Corporate Governance from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main. Her doctoral area of interest was “Ownership and Management Structures” with a specific focus on the global applicability of “an African Model of Corporate Governance and Sustainability.
Clement Ononugbo Clement has over 10 years working experience in the developmental projects design, implementation and management, and training. His experience cuts across Research and Advocacy, Monitoring & Evaluation, Education, Infrastructural development, ICT, Microfinance and Economic empowerment across the breadth of Nigeria. Currently a Programme Director at GBF, Clement in his passion for community development has working experiences at Verbum Networks Ltd Ibadan, Peace Microfinance Bank Abuja, and Educational Cooperation Society Lagos. Clement, an audition Judge at ‘The Entrepreneur’ TV series season 2, is a Sociologist with Bachelors and Masters degrees from University of Ibadan, and an IFC Business Edge and SMEToolkit Trainer.
